It’s that time of the year, again! After hosting more than 400,000 people a year ago, the Bloomsburg Fair returns and will be running from September 21st to the 29th.
For those of you who are new to Bloomsburg, the fair is definitely something you want to check out. The food is unbelievable and the entertainment is endless. There’s something for everybody- whether it’s games, exhibits, shopping, etc. The fair is one of the oldest and biggest county fairs in the country. It’s a real sight to see.
Some of the many special attractions this year are helicopter rides, the Skyride, animal exhibits, carnival rides and games, and all the fried food a person can eat. Speaking from experience, it’s truly amazing how much stuff there is to do. If you’ve never been, you’re missing out.
For country music lovers, this year’s main act at the Grandstand is Cole Swindell, with special guest Kyle Mitchell. Also performing during the course of the fair will be Brett Eldredge, Vince Gill, Casting Crowns, Melissa Etheridge, and more. Tickets for these shows are available on the website, now.
As for the fair itself, Children 12 years old and under get in for free. High school students aged 13-18 are admitted free of charge on Tuesday and the second Friday. Armed service persons and senior citizens (65+) are admitted free on Monday.
Tickets are already on sale online for general admission, as are the tickets for the concerts, exhibitions, etc. You can also purchase tickets at the gates.
